Personal tax manager
Gareth has over 30 years’ experience in the profession have previously worked for the former Inland Revenue and HM Customs & Excise in the days prior to HMRC. His focus has been on assisting private clients with day-to-day compliance and on all aspects of personal taxation include capital gains tax and inheritance tax. He has experience in supporting law firms in dealing with trusts and estates and formalised those skills in successfully obtaining a certificate in probate and estate administration in 2017. Gareth is therefore an integral part of the team at SGD who provide our probate services.
Outside of work he loves to spend time with his wife, 3 married children and 4 grandchildren. Gareth is a Christian and has for 35 years volunteered at churches he has attended serving in a variety of roles including youth work, small group leader, treasurer and more recently as a lay preacher having completed a 4-year theology course in 2022.
