Walk With SGD.

Raising money for local charities. 

On 7th July 2018, SGD together with friends and family are walking 500 miles in aid of our local charities: Coventry and Warwickshire Mind and The Air Ambulance Service.

Volunteers have pledged to walk laps of the 5 mile reservoir Draycote Water to help reach our 500 mile target. Please show them your support by donating and helping us reach of target of £6,000 which will mean a lot to our chosen charities.

Coventry and Warwickshire Mind is a local charity who makes sure that everyone with a mental health problem gets the support they need and the respect they deserve. The stigma associated with mental health problems means it is an area that gets so easily overlooked, but mental health and well-being is so important! The money raised from this event will mean Mind can help improve the quality of life for so many more people.

Our other charity is the Air Ambulance Service, their rapid response time to trauma and medical emergencies really is the difference between life and death. The average cost of each air ambulance mission is £1,700 and they attend 6 lifesaving missions every single day. With no government funding, the Air Ambulance Service relies on your generosity to keep saving lives, so let’s help keep them in the air.
